Help

So I really need some help. 

I've been trying to get my youtube running, at least smoothly with good videos that people can relate to, with college related stuff, hopefully, coming soon. I've also been trying to get my blog going, too.

I was wondering, for any of you experienced people out there, what I should do to help things run a little better. What video editing software do you use? Do you know where I can get a cheap, good quality digital video camera? What should I do to improve my blog?

If you have any comments or suggestions, feel free to leave a comment. Please be nice though, I'm super duper new to these types of things, and to be honest, any harsh criticism right now would probably be difficult to handle, even though I'm a college student, or whatever.
