Halloween!!!
I know I've been terrible with updating this thing, but I've been so busy with school and stuff that it's been hard to find the time!!!
Anyway, HALLOWEEN IS IN 20 DAYS!!!!! Is anybody else as excited about this as I am? I love Halloween!! It signals the start of fall to me, and I love fall!! Can you feel my excitement through your screen?!??!! :D
I do have a Halloween costume. It's this:
I love it. I didn't get those shoes though. I got these:
And we got red fishnet tights to go with. I'm so excited because I've had my heart set on a sailor for a while!! I do want to go trick or treating, but we'll see. I feel like I could pull off a high school student (because I look so young) but that costume might not convince people. Haha. Anyway, I'll try to post pictures of what it looks like on, later. Obviously, this is for any Halloween parties we may encounter, but I also love it because it's just so cute! I'm thinking of a pin-upish look for my makeup with bright red lips, of course, but we'll see what happens! I don't really know what I'm going to do.
Anyway, here are a few more college tips that I've gathered:
1. ALWAYS SUPERVISE YOUR FRIENDS AT PARTIES. Especially if there's alcohol. This is a very sensitive thing because: 1. it's underage drinking which is against the law and 2. you can both get in trouble if you're caught. I know in college that students will drink, but always keep an eye on your friends and stop them when they've had enough because they may not know that they've hit their limit.
2. Do NOT procrastinate. I may have said this once before, but seriously. Just get your homework done. I've been procrastinating this whole week, and now I'm stressed because I don't have as much time as I would have liked to have to get my assignments done. DON'T PROCRASTINATE.
3. Limit distractions when studying/doing homework as much as you can. Okay, I meant Facebook, haha. As hard as it is to stay away from it, it will still be there when you're done. I promise.
That's pretty much all I can think of for right now. I hope you all are having a fantastic school year and are earning good grades!!
Love,
Rachel
