A Few of My Favorite Things: January
So I've been trying to to remember products that I like so I could blog about them. I have a hard time with this though, because I always forget to remember products. (Haha.) I am going to try to remember a few cosmetics, a few body products, maybe some hair stuff, and some miscellaneous items (maybe even some clothing items and other accessories!) So I managed to gather a few products that I'm loving for January for you guys! (There are not products from each of those categories in this list, but wait till February comes!)
Blistex chapstick in Raspberry Lemonade. I love how this smells, but it's not medicated. I generally like the medicated ones better because they last longer for me, but this chapstick is really good!
My Black and Decker coffee maker! I've never really been a big coffee drinker, but since I got this (I actually asked for it), I've been drinking coffee like crazy! (You can see in the picture that I had just used it.) I seriously love it. You can program it to start brewing at a certain time, so I set it to brew in the morning when I get up so I have coffee ready for me when I'm ready to go to class!!
Also coffee related is this creamer. It is sooooo good! I was a bit skeptical at first because I didn't know how it would taste, but it's delicious. I was using the non-dairy creamers, but they aren't as strong or as flavourful as this guy. You should try it. I got it at WalMart.
Next are these two body lotions. The first is Wild Scarlet from Victoria's Secret. It was actually given to me as a gift. The bottom one is Paris Amour by Bath and Body Works, which is my most favourite store in the whole world. I love how both of these smell. The top one is very light and girly. It's not overpowering, but it's so hydrating! The bottom one is a bit stronger scented, but it's amazing! I have yet to find something from BBW that I dislike.
I am a big fan of anything that can make my eyelashes longer and fuller, because I have the shortest, lamest, straightest eyelashes ever. It's seriously ridiculous. The top mascara is L'Oreal Double Extend Beauty Tubes, and I am in love. I use this when I don't put falsies on, and it is seriously a miracle worker. My lashes look longer, although still straight. (They refuse to curl.) The next is the L'Oreal Paris Voluminous mascara. I like this stuff, but it makes them clumpy. It does make them thicker though. The next two are from Maybelline New York. They are the Colossal Volume and the Falsies Volume. I LOVE THESE. I use them all the time. They don't make my eyelashes clumpy (although I think my lashes clump on their own) and they make them look long and pretty. I am always on the lookout for something better though.
Okay. They tell you that dorm rooms smell, and they are not kidding. (Who is "they" you ask? Everyone ever. The cashier at Bed, Bath, and Beyond, my parents, my brother, any person that works at a place where they supply college items.) I got this Febreze Thai Dragon Fruit spray. Oh. My. God. It smells sooo good! And it lasts which is great..especially when you have a room/suite mate that cooks weird smelling things.
Another coffee item that I forgot to put under the coffee section (haha), my coffee mug! It looks big in the picture, but it's not really. It is pretty deep though. I am currently drinking coffee with that cinnamon vanilla creamer in it. (:
I also like this stuff. It's Sally Hansen's VitaSurge Strength Gel. (I am aware that you can read these names on the labels, but I thought it would be quicker for you guys if I added them in the post.) I use it because my nails have been peeling like mad. It's really irritating, and I was hoping this would help strengthen them. It has a bit, but I haven't used it lately because my nails are painted.
Last but not least is the hat and my hair color. You can't really tell what color my hair is from the picture, but it's way darker than it was, and it has a lightish brown/red color in the light. It's so pretty and I'm obsessed. It's Revlon Color Silk in 30 Dark Brown. I love the hat also. I kind of have a thing for fedoras, and this one has a cute satin ribbon around the rim and a satin rose on the side! It was only $9 I think.
I hope you all have a fabulous weekend!!!
Love,
Rachel
