Juicy Couture Perfume Love

Happy Hump Day everyone! As today is Wednesday, it's beauty/health post day!

Today I want to talk about the original Juicy Couture perfume. I got a set of a lotion and perfume for my birthday, and let me tell you it's become a fast favourite of mine.

Here's what the Juicy Couture website says about this perfume:
"Splash on our signature scent featuring top notes of watermelon, mandarin, and passion fruit                    combined with the sparkle and freshness of bright marigold and green apple, lightened by a                  splash of water hyacinth and crushed leaves. Deeper notes of wild rose with sophisticated princess            lily and creamy tuberose undertones. Base notes of caramel creme brulee and vanilla meld with              elegant precious woods and patchouli to create a delicious lingering scent."

It's a bit strong when you first put it on, but as your body heat warms the scent, it becomes just gorgeous. I wear it during the day, as it lightens into something a bit too light for evening wear, in my opinion. (I lean toward heavier, longer lasting scents for evening, as most people do.)

I love this because it starts out very floral, although the floral scents are supposed to be the undertones. As it warms, it becomes lighter floral with the top notes of the various fruits coming out. It's simply divine. I love that it sits nicely on the skin. It's not cloying or overpowering. It's a sophisticated scent that's not too heavy for daytime wear.

I'm no perfume review expert, and this is just my opinion of this fragrance. As always, I would suggest trying it out before buying it. Give it a chance. It does start out pretty strongly, but let it sort of "air out" and then see if you like it. I adore it! I've worn it everyday this week.

Happy Wednesday! I hope you liked this post! I'll see you tomorrow!

Au revoir!
Rachel
