OOTW- Outfit of the Week, First Week of Classes Edition!

So I've been kind of excited for this post all week, but once again, the pictures have failed me. Maybe I'll try to start taking them outside, or have good natural lighting, or have someone take them for me. (cough, cough, Hannah..) 

Anyway, instead of just showcasing the outfit for today, I wanted to showcase the whole week. Generally, I put in a little more effort the first week than the rest of the semester. That's why these may seem a little "dressed up" for classes. I tried to do a good mix of both. 

August 25, Monday 

Dress: Ross- A purple cotton stretch dress. It's actually short-sleeved, you just can't tell.

Belt: Forever21- Brown stretch with brown leather and buckle in the front.

Shoes: Amazon- Soda brand, ankle, cutout boots. You can get them here. 

Watch: Amazon- It's a NineWest. Brown leather band with gold face.

Bracelet: Antique store- Weiss, multicolored, multi-stone. 

Hair was down. 

August 25, Tuesday 

Top: Walmart- Just a plain, white tank top. Nothing super fancy.

Cardi: Goodwill- A blue and grey striped cardigan. There are two little pockets on each side

Shorts: Kohl's- They're light wash, distressed denim. 

Shoes: Ross- These are high top converse brand.

Watch: Same as the day before

Necklace- I think my mom gave me this. It's a silver antique-style necklace. 

Hair was in a wrap-around french braid (think Katniss braid but French braided), into a side bun. 

Wednesday, August 26

Top: I don't know, actually. My mom gave this to me. The back has red crochet stitching at the top. 

Pants: Kohl's- Khaki capris. I like these because they can be professional or casual. 

Shoes: Converse- Glow in the dark. (Not pictured)

Watch: Same as before. 

Hair was in a high, teased pony with a white ribbon. 

Thursday, August 27

Top: Ross- Grey and black plaid. There's a left breast pocket. 

I did not leave it tucked in like that. I just wanted to show the shorts better in the photo. 

Shorts: Walmart- Black denim with those 2 rows of buttons. 

Shoes: Vans- Black checked. 

Watch- Big Lots (seriously!) Black leather band and face. 

Hair was in a top knot with a white bandana.

Friday, August 28

Top: Ross- Nude chiffon with black hearts. It's short sleeved, elastic bottom. There's a ruffle that goes down the middle and two breast pockets. 

Pants: Kohl's- Denim capris. My mom calls them "clam-diggers". 

Shoes: Converse- Glow in the dark (not pictured, again, sorry!) 

Watch- Brown NineWest. 

Hair was down today, but half clipped back. 

I didn't show my jewelry, except what was pictured. If you are curious, I can add pictures of those as well.
